A: According to the EPA, there is scientific evidence that the air quality in our homes and buildings can be more polluted than outdoor air, a fact which can be problematic for our health since we spend approximately 90 percent of our time indoors. Products that release gases or particles into the air are the primary cause of poor indoor air quality (IAQ).
